November 25 — The award ceremony for the 2025 “Data Elements×” Competition National Finals was held in Shanghai. The event was jointly hosted by 21 organizations, including the National Data Administration, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Shanghai Municipal Government. It aimed to showcase the latest progress and achievements in China's data development and utilization, fully unleash the multiplier effect of data elements, and inject strong momentum into the building of Digital China.
Launched in April, the 2025 “Data Elements×” Competition has drawn enthusiastic participation from all regions. Its 14 tracks delivered a wealth of highlights, attracting over 23,000 registered teams and more than 117,000 participants. A total of 893 projects advanced to the national finals, from which 183 award-winning projects were ultimately selected. Leveraging its deep expertise in smart healthcare, ZGC Smart City earned third prize in the healthcare track and sixth place nationwide with its “Medical Data Empowerment for Primary Healthcare Management” project. This honor fully reflects the industry's high recognition of the company's application and innovation of medical data elements.
The “Data Elements×” Competition is the first national event focusing on data element development and application, hosted by the National Data Administration and other agencies. It gathers innovative achievements in data element application from across the country. The “Medical Data Empowerment for Primary Healthcare Management” project, jointly submitted by ZGC Smart City and Peking University First Hospital, directly addresses the pain points of continuously rising chronic disease prevalence and insufficient service capacity at primary medical institutions in China. Through innovative application of clinical data elements, it has built a secure and efficient medical intelligent decision-making platform.
The project pioneered a “industry-university-research-medicine” collaborative model. ZGC Smart City joined forces with the advantage disciplines and leading experts of Peking University First Hospital to create a multi-agent collaborative service architecture. The system covers the full process of pre-diagnosis, diagnosis, and post-diagnosis in primary clinical practice. Through the “Digital Doctor Assistant” product, it automatically integrates patient medical history data, generates health profiles, and provides clinical assisted decision-making support for multiple chronic diseases and complex comorbidities, significantly improving the early diagnosis rate of multiple chronic diseases at the primary level by over 15-20%.
Meanwhile, the system provides residents with “AI Nutritionist and Health Butler” services, offering pre-diagnosis and post-diagnosis health consultation and other services, solving the problem of scarce professional nutritionists at the primary level. For health commission authorities, it serves as the “smart brain” for regional chronic disease prevention and control, achieving chronic disease incidence trend monitoring and precise identification of high-risk populations through analysis of chronic disease population data.
The project has been validated in multiple locations including Beijing and Taiyuan, covering more than 50 medical institutions of various levels. It has also been selected as a supported project of the national AI application medical field pilot base, forming a replicable and scalable “AI + Healthcare” service model that provides an effective solution for the implementation of the “Healthy China” strategy.
As a leading AI industry deep-application service provider and a national-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative key “Little Giant” enterprise, ZGC Smart City's honor at the 2025 “Data Elements×” Competition National Finals fully reflects the industry's high recognition of its capabilities in data element integrated application and technology deployment. Looking ahead, the company will continue to uphold the philosophy of open cooperation, deepen “technology + scenario” integrated innovation, expand cooperation dimensions with domestic and international research institutions, medical institutions, and enterprise partners, continuously increase technology R&D and product innovation efforts, drive the value release of data elements in the medical and health field, and contribute more wisdom and strength to the building of “Digital China”.
